Sandra was born in the Tokyo Army Hospital in Japan where her father was stationed. The family relocated to Fort Huachuca, Ariz., and then to Okinawa. After leaving Okinawa the family came to Fort Benning. She graduated from Columbus High School in 1971, then graduated from Columbus College (now Columbus State University) in 1975. Right after graduation she went to work at the Columbus Ledger-Enquirer as the TV Book editor. Later, she became the arts writer until retiring in 2014. Shortly after retirement, Sandra accepted Donna's offer of a part-time job, becoming marketing coordinator for Travels By Donna. She says she's learning something new almost every day, even at her advanced age! A perk is guessing the correct prices of trips on "The Price Is Right," something she couldn't do before, thanks to working at Travels By Donna. Sandra likes to read, play with her four dogs and loves watching "The Walking Dead."
